Our mission is to find a CBTC Software Engineer.


    CBTC Software Engineer (m/f)

    As a CBTC Software Engineer, you will supervise the complete software development life cycle. During this process you will manage the project scoping, the requirement generation, prepare the design and lead the project reviews and the whole implementation process. Embedding the software design and coding is also part of your responsibility. For the mechanical and electrical system engineers and the other software engineers you will act as an interface for requirements and design definitions. To ensure a smooth delivery, you will integrate and test the system in the field yourself. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain the software documentation for different functions.

    You have a degree (FH, ETH, University) in Software, Electronic, Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering or Scientific Matters. A sound professional experience in programming with C, C++ and IEC 61131 within the rail industry is mandatory. Know-how in software design and systems development with SIL 1, 2, 3, 4 and a good understanding of the EN50128:2011 is preferred. You navigate confidently and skilfully in the international environment; therefore, you are fluent in English and desirably in German. Any other language is an advantage. You are interested in establishing new solutions; thus, you are attentive, determined, precise and persistent.
