    CBTC ATS Technical Lead (m/f)

    As a CBTC ATS Technical Lead you will be guiding the technical team in the development of Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) systems. Your tasks include the creation of concepts, architecture and design descriptions for ATS subsystems. Another of your responsibilities is the preparation and review of requirements and specifications of the system, subsystems, hardware, software and interfaces with focus on ATS. You will be in charge of the selection and management of partners and suppliers. Additionally, you will compare concepts with market needs and available technologies. As a Technical Lead you will gather all specifications and manage the validation and certification of ATS systems, including the integration in other subsystems. For your team you will plan and manage internal engineering activities in the project. You will be responsible for the quality assurance of engineering documents and the milestone compliance. Your strong communication skills help you in your contact with customers, authorities as well as internal and external bodies. Lastly, you will guide the validation of requirements and the actual product launch.

    You have a degree (FH, ETH, University) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. A professional experience in challenging and complex projects within rail vehicle construction is preferable. CBTC standards like IEEE, UNISIG and EN and safety standards (EN 50126,128,129) are in your extensive knowledge. You have experience in the development of software algorithms and object-oriented programming (OOP) in Java. To navigate confidently and skilfully in the international environment, you are fluent in English and German. Any additional language skills are advantageous.
