    Data Communication System Engineer (m/f)

    As a Data Communication System Engineer, you will produce and implement template radio architectures as well as customising them for project requirements and incorporating them to provide performance characteristics to customer specification. Your responsibility lies within the configuration and optimisation of Data Communication Systems for Communication-Based Train Control Systems. To optimise the system architecture of the network security, you will review the Data Communication System Design and Architecture. Additionally, you will administrate the network of CBTC Components. To ensure the overall productivity you will run system testing and secure the validation of the DCS reference architecture and design.

    For this position, you have a degree (FH, ETH, University) in Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Science Engineering and sound professional experience in the railway industry. What motivates you, is your strong interest in communication aspects within the industrial environment and especially in Industrial Automation and Control Systems. In addition, your know-how consists of the engineering and architecture of network infrastructures in terms of WiFi solutions and associated standards including the LAN / WAN deployment of telecom networks and radio measurement tools. You are familiar with recent technological developments (MiMo, LTE, IP / MPLS). Furthermore, you bring along sound experience on cyber security in an industrial environment (ISO99 / IEC 6244-2-1), and on Radio engineering.

    To round up your profile, you navigate confidently and skilfully in the international environment and are fluent in English and German. Any other language is an advantage.
