  • The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.
    [Franklin D. Roosevelt]

Demanding tasks do not scare you off, but challenge you? Are you determined to achieve great things? Are you building long-term, sustainable relationships, but also structures that will ensure sustainable future success? Do you feel at home in the world of technology as well as in the world of legal safety regulations? You act efficiently? Are you a proven expert in your field?

Our client, Stadler Rheintal AG, is a dynamic and extremely successful rail vehicle manufacturer in Eastern Switzerland. Its success is based on a stringent strategy, vital innovative strength and classic Swiss quality, reliability and tailor-made solutions for demanding customers. Our mission is to find a networked thinking and conscientious personality as Safety Manager.

    Safety Manager (m/f)

As Safety Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the cross-departmental coordination and assurance of safety activities, as well as for the preparation of safety verification concepts for international rail vehicle projects. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating safety verification procedures, preparing risk analyses, advising engineering and sales in the field of safety verification procedures, and representing the results to customers, testing bodies and authorities. If necessary, you will also participate in approval processes and are also the first point of contact for all safety issues relating to rail vehicles.

In order to be able to meet this demanding and exciting challenge, you should have an engineering degree (FH/TU) in rail vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics, as well as a specialisation or further training in the field of safety management. Several years of professional experience in the rail vehicle industry would be an advantage. In order to move confidently and skilfully on the international stage, you are fluent in German and English. Any other language would be an advantage. Networked thinking, a structured and precise working method, as well as dutiful documentation to ensure interdepartmental activities are a basic requirement. Coordinative skills with a lot of stamina and assertiveness distinguish you, and you do not have any trouble travelling for international project implementations.
