    Safety Engineer (m/f)

    As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for the safety demonstration concepts and their preparation, for writing demonstration documentation and for coordinating the safety demonstration procedures. In this context, you will carry out risk and fault tree analyses, assume an advisory function for the engineers and represent the results to customers, testing authorities and authorities. In addition, you will be involved in approval processes and share responsibility for monitoring safety assets.

    In order to be able to meet this demanding and exciting challenge, you should have an engineering degree (FH/TU) in rail vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics, as well as a specialisation or further training in the field of safety management. Several years of professional experience in the rail vehicle industry would be an advantage. In order to move confidently and skilfully on the international stage, you are fluent in German and English. Any other language would be an advantage. Networked thinking, a structured and precise way of working and the dutiful preparation of documentation are a basic requirement. Furthermore, you have a sound knowledge of the European standards EU402/2013 as well as sufficient system knowledge of ItemToolkit and ISOGraph.
